I felt like I had a call to adopt since I was very young. Throughout our marriage, it is something that we talked about from time to time, and something that we were hoping to do.
By the fall of 2010, we decided that the time was right for us to proceed. We submitted our first application to our adoption agency, CCAI, on November 30, 2010. We got our call with our referral for Hannah in January of 2011, and traveled to get her in October, 2011.
It has been an incredible journey, and we are so thankful that Hannah is now a part of our family.
